Hello Substack friends,

Another week of navigating uncertainty, experiencing waves of grief, and putting our work to practice has come and gone.

I hope no matter what your week looked like, you were able to experience moments of joy, ease, balance, and serenity.

My shadow has been quite loud lately with everything going on in Lebanon, so please trust and know that if you’re being asked to navigate some deep-rooted fears, there’s a reason.

In many recent conversations with friends, I’ve noticed a theme of grief. All different kinds of grief coming up for release, and when that happens, the heart chakra is being asked to open and create space.

The fears are being asked to release, so that more love can take its place.

And because the Universe does what it does, all of this aligns with the upcoming Libra Full Moon. A full moon illuminating everything lurking in the shadows of Libra—a sign of partnerships, balance, justice, and love.

Hi friends! What a time.

I woke up this morning to the sounds of my neighbor playing Call of Duty. I was infuriated. All I kept thinking was how my family escaped war (and yet are still somehow in it today), just for me to still wake up to the sounds of bombs and machine guns.

Instead of knocking on his door and telling him off, which was my initial solution, I decided to open my computer and write, but all I could muster was why are so many white men horny for violence?

Anyway, I hope you had a wonderful week. If you found yourself crying most of the week with heavy pressure in your chest, congratulations. You were activating more expansion within your heart chakra, and grief is the catalyst for that.

I have been doing my best in facing my deep fears around grief, especially with my Dad. He is in the southern region of Lebanon, which as you may know, is being actively bombed right now. God is asking me to have more faith and trust than I know how to practice most days, but I’m getting better at it.

And this is where I remind you that despite all of my work in this field, my shadow can still ambush me. I can still find myself in those dark pits of doom, fear, worry, guilt, and grief to the point where I might drown.

Healing doesn’t strip away your humanity. It actually exposes it.

The difference is now I’m not checked out for months at a time. I check in. I apply the wisdom I’ve gained. I show myself compassion. I face the fear when necessary, and I raise it to faith.

I must admit, I’ve been in heavy spirits. As you may know, Lebanon has been targeted yet again, and it’s been difficult to focus without drifting into the terrifying land of what if when it comes to my family’s safety.

Moments like this tend to shine a light on my deepest fears, which are usually protecting my most vulnerable truths. And I’ve been grappling with the shadows of grief that seem to be inevitable when there is also deep love present.

Perhaps I’ll talk more about that in another post. For now, I just want to humbly ask that you keep Lebanon in your prayers, and remind you to take it easy. If you feel helpless or powerless in any situation, know that the greatest power you hold is your faith.

If that’s all you can do, then what a great place to start. And I’ll keep reminding myself of that, too.

Happy Monday, folks.

I hope you had a balanced and rejuvenated weekend that provided you with whatever your mind, body, and soul needed most.

We are living in an interesting time, as I’m sure you know, and the recent batch of Epstein Files that were dropped are sure to create some very difficult revelations about the world we have been living in.

Unfortunately, I’m not surprised.

There has always been this innate understanding of the darkness of humanity within me—one that has made me wonder if I actually want to be an active participant in this experience. And for a long time, I didn’t.

However, the last 7 years have shown me what we’re moving toward, and that involves facing some absolutely horrendous truths about the systems we’ve helped uphold, even unconsciously, in order to help build a new world.

That’s why I’ve been so devoted to shadow work. There is a collective shadow being revealed, and we’ll each have a role to play.

The Leo Full Moon yesterday was directly opposing Pluto and Mars in Aquarius. When we talk about the exposure era, this is what we mean. Whatever has been hidden in the dark is coming to light, and we’re just getting started.

With that said, if you’re hoping I don’t get political, I have bad news for you…

Everything is political. Your existence is political. The state of the world is political. And collective liberation is political.

Everything is also spiritual. Your existence is spiritual. The state of the world is spiritual. And collective liberation is spiritual.

The limited belief that these things are separate is an illusion. So, no, I will not be leaving politics out of these conversations.

But for now, let’s get to our regularly scheduled programming…

I want to reiterate that you’re here for a reason, and even if you’re unsure what that reason might be, you matter. Like I said, we all have a role to play, and that includes you.

Hi friends!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and an illuminating Capricorn New Moon yesterday.

Our first new moon of the year was supercharged with influence by a number of friends in Capricorn as well—the Sun, Mercury and Mars.

With all of this Capricorn energy, you may be feeling compelled to strategize and create long-term plans and goals that are rooted in purpose, legacy, and perhaps even karmic duty.

As always, the house in your birth chart that is ruled by Capricorn will tell you more about the area of life that is experiencing a lot of action at this time.

As a Capricorn stellium myself, I’m not stranger to this energy, and I’m also no exception to the rule.

Today is officially the beginning of Aquarius season! Happy solar return to all of the Aquarius suns reading this.

The cosmic army that is currently in Capricorn will soon be marching towards Aquarius, so prepare for that area of life to experience an influx of energy as well.

Venus will also be conjunct (or next to) Pluto in Aquarius today, as well.

Whatever you’re focused on, you can be extra passionate about, and this intensity can be of benefit to you. You can make progress with goals and strengthen a relationship.

Mercury will meet Venus in Aquarius tomorrow. This transit can help you focus on your future, your hopes and dreams, and the ideas and plans you have for them. You can think way outside of the box, and this can open more up for you.
