Happy Monday, friends.

I hope this weekend treated you gently, and offered some solace from the chaos that continues to stir around us all.

I must admit, I’ve been in heavy spirits. As you may know, Lebanon has been targeted yet again, and it’s been difficult to focus without drifting into the terrifying land of what if when it comes to my family’s safety.

Moments like this tend to shine a light on my deepest fears, which are usually protecting my most vulnerable truths. And I’ve been grappling with the shadows of grief that seem to be inevitable when there is also deep love present.

Perhaps I’ll talk more about that in another post. For now, I just want to humbly ask that you keep Lebanon in your prayers, and remind you to take it easy. If you feel helpless or powerless in any situation, know that the greatest power you hold is your faith.

If that’s all you can do, then what a great place to start. And I’ll keep reminding myself of that, too.
