Have you ever found yourself in a room with a group of people, and you immediately noticed an energy shift?
Maybe there was someone whose anxious energy was super palpable, or someone who you just knew was a mood killer? Maybe you walked into a party and became instantly drawn to someone you don’t even know?
This is all energy. And you shift the energy in the room, too.
We’re completely comprised of energy, and whether we consciously realize it or not, that is the first thing that introduces us when we walk into a room, but we often don’t take the time to find out what it’s saying.
There’s a reason why you prefer to spend time with certain people and not others. Energy is transferable. You can absorb and feel it, especially if you’re highly sensitive.
During my coaching training at iPEC, I became accredited with facilitating ELI Assessments, also known as Energy Leadership Index Assessments. It instantly became one of my favorite things. I wanted to give one to everybody I came across.
You’re probably familiar with personality tests like Myers Briggs, DiSC, and Enneagram. ELI Assessments are attitudinal tests that capture how you currently perceive and approach life, both on a regular day and when you’re triggered by stress (that’s the doozy).
The ELI is based on the seven levels of energy via iPEC’s Energetic Self-Perception Chart, which is (very quickly) summarized below:
Level 1: Lack of choice. Victim energy. I can’t. I have to. Fearful.
Level 2: Anger. Combativeness. Resisting or fighting energy.
Level 3: Rationalizing. Fine.
Level 4: Care. Compassion. Service to others.
Level 5: Reconciliation. Win-win. There’s no good or bad or right or wrong.
Level 6: Intuition. Creative genius. The space of brilliant visionaries.
Level 7: Complete passion for all aspects of life. Oneness.
We all have all seven levels to varying degrees, and the assessment helps us see which level we operate from on a daily basis, and when shit hits the fan, so that we can better understand ourselves and the lens in which we view the world.
As an ELI-MP, I’m licensed to administer, analyze and coach clients on iPEC's highly respected and validated ELI. I offer it as part of my 1:1 Coaching package, but if consistent private coaching isn’t feasible for you at this time, and you’re interested in finding out your energy levels, I recently added the ELI as its own service.
It includes the purchase of the assessment (which takes about 20 minutes to complete online), a breakdown of your results, and a 90-minute coaching call with me to discover the percentage of each of the 7 energy levels that you typically experience under stress and also under “normal” conditions.
You’ll also discover your Average Resonating Level of Energy (A.R.L.), which represents the average of all your energy levels, under normal conditions and in reaction to stressful circumstances.
I truly believe in this tool and am always fascinated by the epiphanies and revelations that arise through the debrief call.
If you’re ready to take a step into change, I’d love to help you.
