Reiki healing is an ancient energy healing practice that originated in Japan and was developed by Mikao Usui. It combines elements of Buddhist, Taoist, and Shinto practices, and was popularized in the West by Hawayo Takata in the 1930s.

It helps release blockages, restore balance, and promote deep relaxation. It works by channeling Universal life force energy to cleanse and harmonize the body’s energy centers (chakras), allowing for emotional, physical, and spiritual renewal.

I first became acquainted with Reiki back in 2013, but didn’t pursue my first Reiki attunement until 2018. By 2021, I was a Reiki Master and have witnessed its powerful effects both on myself and others.
