It’s crazy to think that just one week ago, I was feeling knots in my stomach trying to make sure everything was prepped for my first Return to Self Live Show.
And then, in what felt like the blink of an eye, it was over.
Before I ever got the opportunity to host a live show for this final episode, I knew what I was going to talk about. The title came through like a download—facing the feeling.
During this episode, I take you on a journey into my stream of consciousness when I think about feelings (expect sudden turns and plot twists and weird analogies that surprisingly make sense), because when I think back on season 2, there was a lot of trapped emotions coming up to be felt.
If there was one word to truly capture my experience of life so far it would be feeling. It’s been both my superpower and my kryptonite, the mystery and the answer, the lie and the truth.
Feelings fascinate me, because of their complexity.
And during this episode, I realized that feelings are what keep us alive, yet they’re also what we tend to push away in order to “survive.”
Quite the contradiction, don’t you think?
If you’re interested in taking this journey with me through the crevices of my mind and spirit, watch the full live show below. And if you find yourself feeling inspired by it in any way, please share it with your community.
The audio will be available on all major podcast streaming platforms on Monday.
In spirituality, we often talk about giving birth to more than just babies. Creation isn’t limited to just humans. Many of us give birth daily, breathing life into what was once just an idea.
And just like babies, it takes a village. This event was no different.
Community really came through to help me execute this event, and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
Thank you to L’Cheriyve Studios and my soul sister Cristina Alexis for hosting the event at their beautiful venue, my right-hand Nicole Garcia for helping me with every task and for introducing me in such a powerful and beautiful way, Tori and Coyote Wild for collaborating on these incredible perfume oils (available online soon!) and for styling my hair and helping me with everything the day of, Corey Emanuel for capturing photos and video, Jacob Harrell for the videography, Jon Gorski and Drink Hiyo for providing beverages, Katia’s Cuisine for cooking a delicious homemade Lebanese meal for our guests, Martha Garcia for my fresh cut, Makeup by Martie for beating my face, DJ Hed for providing top-of-the-line audio equipment, Vanessa Rivera for providing us with a handpainted backdrop for photos and Esoteric Esa for supporting and promoting this event to you community.
Whew, community is truly beautiful.
Thank you all for you continuous support as I navigate this journey and bring my dreams to fruition.
