It’s a tangled web we weave when we choose to come back, and as you can already tell, there is a laundry list of karmic influence behind why we play different roles for different roles time and time again.

• Vows or Promises: According to Hall, “Pacts, vows and promises hold people together across lives. These may be intentional or unintentional. Saying such things as, ‘Of course I’ll always be there for you’ can create a powerful bond, as can vows of fealty or obedience. They can occur between lovers, parent and child or strangers.”

  • Astrological Indicators: Saturn, Neptune, Chiron repeating interaspects to the personal planets, or these outer planets falling in the other person’s eighth house.
