The "Deconstructing Shadow Work" E-Book Is Here!
Everything you ever wanted to know about the shadow and shadow work.
It’s here!
As many of you know, a lot of my work, both mystical and practical, involves touching on the shadow and shadow work (whether we call it out as that or not), so I’ve created a 68-page e-book as a resource and guide for those who are ready to dive deeper and go on their own shadow journey in order to create a more fulfilling life.
So what even is shadow work and why is it important?
Shadow work refers to the process of exploring and integrating the unconscious or repressed parts of ourselves, often referred to as our "shadow,” a term coined by Swiss psychologist Carl Jung. This process helps us become more aware of our unconscious patterns that can oftentimes take control of our lives and feed into unhealthy relationships and dynamics.
Shadow work was not something I intentionally chose to work on. It was a bulldozer that affected every aspect of my life until I had no choice but to face it.
Some of you may know me from my former blog of 10 years, "The Problem With Dating," and that journey led me to questioning, "What if the problem is me?"
For that reason, I was committed to breaking cycles that kept me stuck in the same situations over and over again, and that led me to shadow work without even realizing that was what I was doing.
Throughout this process, I had to acknowledge parts of my Self that I kept hidden, unconscious patterns that were running my life and the ways in which I was contributing to my suffering.
While this process is complex and can get really deep, I wanted to cover the main topic points to help give you a clear understanding of what this is and how to navigate through it.
