Doesn’t it feel like we were just talking about the partial lunar eclipse and full moon?
Such is life, right? What does time even mean anymore?
Anyway, before I go down an existential rabbit hole, I wanted to preface this newsletter by saying that it won’t be a new moon ritual like usual.
As I’ve mentioned before, eclipse energy can be tricky with manifestations, so instead, I’ve decided to use this time to share what this cosmic event signifies.
In the event that you feel strongly about writing down your manifestations for this new moon, by all means, do what feels aligned for you. At this point, I trust that you’re more than equipped to craft intentions that feel right for you.
Along with the Sagittarius New Moon this week comes a solar eclipse on Friday evening at 11:43 pm PST.
This will be wrapping up a Sagittarius-Gemini Eclipse cycle that began in May 2020. Think back to that time and see if there was any significant event that sparked a journey for you up until now. A huge karmic cycle is coming to an end.
Eclipses are portals into new consciousness, and the ending of an eclipse cycle is like finally arriving at a new destination. There has been a lot of letting go and shedding during this time, and now we get to fully experience the rebirth and integration of everything we’ve been undergoing.
These karmic cycles have been affecting us globally (in very obvious ways) and also individually, and can be linked to areas of travel, education, legal matters, religion and spirituality, as well as our mind, communication and information.
In order to gain more insight on what this eclipse cycle was affecting for you personally, it can help to look at your birth chart to see what houses Sagittarius and Gemini are in. You may also gain more clarity by looking at your North and South Nodes, too.
Eclipses are strongly tied to fate and karma and this intense cycle accompanied the Nodes of the Moon on the Gemini-Sagittarius axis. The North Node has been in Gemini while the South Node has been in its sister sign of Sagittarius, and they’ll remain here until mid-January 2022 when they enter the Taurus-Scorpio axis.
The Nodes are important to consider because they point to one’s destiny, and eclipses are tied to them. Your personal Nodes are determined by the eclipses that were forming in the skies a few months before and a few months after your birth.
Think of this solar eclipse has a graduation of sorts.
If you’ve been dragging your feet or lagging on what you know you need to do, you’ll be getting a swift kick in the ass to get aligned, which can come with some discomfort. If you’ve been doing the work, you’ll begin to see the rewards soon enough.
Ready or not, change is coming.
Join me on Friday evening at 5 pm PST for a Sagittarius New Moon & Solar Eclipse reading on IG Live!
See you there, xo.
