The Stages of a Relationship—Stage 2: Power Struggle

Last week, I shared with you the first stage of a relationship (romance), based on Judy Hall’s work Karmic Connections and Chuck Spezzano’s insights on the matter.

If you resonated with the spark that can ignite almost immediately, then you may also resonate with the next stage of the relationship—the power struggle.

This is when things get a little tricky and you start seeing patterns being played out.

It doesn’t take too long before the ghosts of relationships past (even if it’s from past lives) to peek through and try to unconsciously run things, which is also when your Shadow makes its debut within the relationship.

That doesn’t mean the relationship is destined to fail. Quite the opposite actually, but it will take work on both parts to see the light at the end of the tunnel, so let’s get into it…
