This Is A Love Worth Fighting For

If you follow me on social media (especially TikTok), then you may have seen me conduct bibliomancy readings, which is a form of divination using books.
To put it simply, it’s using passages in books that you feel drawn to as a message from the Universe, offering guidance in some way.
This is something I’ve been doing since I was a little girl without realizing it, and it continued throughout my life. Any time I crossed paths with a book or kept getting messages about a specific book, I knew it had a message for me in it.
I’d grab it, flip to a random page and find whatever guidance was being offered to me at that time. Since I’ve been doing this on social media, I figured I’d also implement it into my newsletters, because it’s fun and why not?
So, for this bibliomancy message, I felt drawn to one of my all-time favorite books, “Only Love Is Real” by Brian Weiss, M.D.
Below you’ll find the passage that we landed on and the message I’ve channeled from it. As always, don’t make it fit.
“A reunion with a soulmate after a long and involuntary separation can be an experience worth fighting for—even if the wait is one of centuries.”
For context, this book is a compilation of true stories based on Dr. Weiss’ experiences with his patients during regression sessions. For those who are unfamiliar, regression therapy is a form of hypnosis that allows you to access past life memories.
In this passage, Weiss goes on to detail a couple—Anthony and Ariel—who quickly fell in love after meeting on vacation. Ariel, who was a patient of Weiss’, was curious to see what Anthony’s past life regression entailed and if she was part of it in any way.
It turns out that during a lifetime in North Africa more than 2,000 years prior, an experience Anthony was explaining in great detail during hypnosis, he was caught in the midst of warfare, and in an attempt to save the women and children from the attackers (including his fiancee, who he was passionately in love with), they were sent off by boat.
The attackers ended up lighting the boats on fire and killing everyone onboard, including Anthony’s fiancee. He was one of the few who managed to escape the slaughter through hand-to-hand combat, and ended up dying of starvation and grief.
His fiancee in that lifetime reincarnated as Ariel in this lifetime.
In a world full of sorrow and suffering, illusions and deception, you’re being reminded that the only real thing is love. Despite the obstacles and challenges of time and distance, love will always find you again.
For whoever this message is for, you may be fighting for a love you don’t even realize is thousands of years old. There may be someone who immediately sparked your heart, and that’s due to the remembrance of your role to each other.
It may not be logical, and it might make you feel crazy, but your souls recognized each other, and there may be past life fears that block this truth from coming to the surface. Perhaps, like Anthony and Ariel, you also experienced a devastating loss with each other in another life, something that prevented you from experiencing the passionate love that you share for one another.
This grief may still be blocking your heart from opening in order to let this person in now, but trust and know that your spirit will not allow you to give up so easy.
This is a love worth fighting for. This is a love that finds you in every lifetime.
