We’ve arrived at a potent cosmic doorway.

As you’re well aware, the last few weeks have been intense, in its own celestial way.

That’s partially due to the Pisces-Virgo eclipse portal that we’ve been navigating, which has also been entangled with other major players in the sky.

And this Sunday, we have the next pivotal shift—the Virgo New Moon + Partial Solar Eclipse happening at the very last degree of Virgo (29°).

This is no ordinary New Moon—not only is it happening at a critical degree, but it's the fourth eclipse in the Virgo–Pisces series (Sept 2024–Feb 2027), and the only Solar Eclipse of this set (the rest are Lunar).

This moment bookends two powerful themes…

Just two weeks ago, we experienced a Pisces Lunar Eclipse that stirred the waters of release, surrender, and endings.

Now, this Solar Eclipse in Virgo asks us to plant a seed of discernment, clarity, and intention—right at a critical degree, signaling both culmination and transition.

If this feels familiar, or if certain experiences from years ago keep popping into your memory, it’s because we’ve been here before.

Virgo–Pisces eclipse cycles have unfolded during:

  • 2015–2017

  • 2006–2008

  • 1997–1998

  • 1987–1989

Think back to those years—what themes were active in your life? Health? Service? Spiritual practice? Boundaries vs. devotion?

Those threads may be resurfacing now, offering you a new chance to work with them.

There’s also a planetary dance happening during this new moon and partial solar eclipse, with the moon opposing Saturn and Neptune, causing tension between structure and surrender, as well as clarity and fog.

Where have you been asked to discern what’s real and what’s illusion?

It will be making a harmonious trine to both Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, creating opportunities for breakthroughs in perception, new ways of thinking, fresh approaches to old problems, and deep transformation around collective patterns, technology, and power dynamics, respectively.

This eclipse feels like a bridge between dissolving old patterns and anchoring new structures. Virgo reminds us that healing often starts with simple, grounded practices.

Here’s how this Virgo New Moon and partial Solar Eclipse may affect you, based on your rising sign:
