WATCH: Discussing the Feminine Wound & Shadow Astrology
Catch my discussion with karmic astrologer Vika Bradford on the It's Karmic Podcast.
Are y’all ready for another story about a cosmic connection?
One of my favorite things about this journey is (re)uniting with people who speak my language, and that’s exactly what happened when I came across Vika Bradford.
You guys know that I get real nerdy when I find a subject that fascinates me, and for the last few years, that’s been the intersection between karmic relationships and astrology.
A couple of months ago, while reading Judy Hall’s book Karmic Connections, I came across a term called the Hades Moon. This is an astrological placement that involves your moon sign aspecting your Pluto sign, and can point to a deep mother wound that affects your relationship with the feminine, and a person who is drawn to shadow work because of their willingness to journey through their own personal underworld.
This obviously piqued my interest, because it sounded a little too familiar. So, I was like, “I wonder if I have that placement?”
Spoiler alert: I absolutely do, and down the rabbit hole I went.
While doing more research on the Hades Moon placement, I came across a very thorough blog post that resonated with me deeply, and it was written by a karmic astrologer named Vika Bradford.
She writes, “This deeply karmic placement carries the wound of the matriarchy though you do not have to be female to have this placement, it has nothing to do with gender at all but it usually carried through the matriarchal line.”
(The Hades Moon placement fascinates me, and has unearthed deep unconscious wounds for me personally, which I can explain further in a future post.)
I immediately began following Vika’s work, and before I knew it, we connected on IG and she asked if I’d be open to being on her podcast It’s Karmic.
You know I’d never pass on an opportunity to talk about the shadow and mysticism, so we got right into it, and now our conversation is available for your listening pleasure.
In this episode, we delve deep into the profound themes of the sister wound, shadow astrology, and the path to feminine liberation. It's a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, exploring how we can heal past wounds, embrace our shadows, and step into our truest, most liberated selves.
Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect:
Unearthing the Sister Wound: Understanding the deep-seated patterns that may be holding us back in our journey towards feminine liberation.
Cosmic Perspectives: How shadow astrology provides unique insights and tools for navigating the sister wound and embracing our authentic selves.
Empowerment Through Connection: Exploring the transformative power of sisterhood and collective healing.
You can listen to my episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or watch above on YouTube if you’re more of a visual person, like me.
