The adventure begins with my overnight layover in Zurich, where I was able to spend my aunt’s birthday with her before continuing on my trek to Cairo to meet with the other travelers.

As you can imagine, the trip was beyond what we could have hoped for and didn’t disappoint when it came to creating memories—from climbing inside The Great Pyramid to mourning a past life love at Saqqara to a beautiful Reiki activation on The Nile and more, we all left with core experiences that will last a lifetime.

As I always say, these trips are exciting and terrifying and everything in between, but beyond the itinerary and location, the real magick happens in the moments that can easily be overlooked.

Whether it’s an emotional connection to a land you’ve never been to before, meeting people your soul instantly recognizes, making lifelong friendships or giving yourself the opportunity to experience something you normally would be too scared to do, these retreats help usher in the next phase of you.
