Your Leo Full Moon Ritual
A rare conjunction is also occurring now!
Happy Full Moon, friends.
Before I begin on the energy of this moon, I wanted to address the absence of this week’s oracle reading. It’s a long story, but basically, I was stranded in Phoenix for a few days and there was no way around it, so I wasn’t able to do the newsletter.
It’s been a whirlwind few days, to say the least, and now we’re tumbling into another full moon, so let’s get into it…
Today marks the Leo Full Moon. As you may already know, Leo is all about having fun, being creative and tapping back into that inner child joy. During this time, you’re really being asked to realign with your true heart’s desire. Where can you add more levity and play? What’s blocking you from feeling creative?
Additionally, Venus and Mars have come together today to form a conjunction and sacred union, sending supercharged rays of passionate, creative, and balancing energies our way.
Venus and Mars represent the feminine and the masculine, the Goddess and the God. Both of these energies live within us, and can rebirth themselves under this Full Moon.
The rebirth of these principles can see us open our hearts wider, boost our feelings of passion, rethink our connection with both masculine and feminine energies, and help us connect to the Divine Goddess or God within. The union of Venus and Mars invites contemplation of how to work personally with these two forces, while they are together in Capricorn. Ruled by Saturn, earthy Capricorn is about effort, commitment and the rewards for hard work.
What’s even more interesting about this conjunction is the length of time they’ll be together. Usually a Venus-Mars conjunction will happen once a year for about 10 days, but this time, these two planets will be together for nearly three months!
The fact that this all kicks off on the night of the full moon just gives me goosebumps. I can’t help but believe that some truly miraculous things are on the horizon.
As I’ve mentioned, with Full Moon rituals, we release. We do this by writing down intentions on what we’re releasing and burning the paper (safely) to transmute the energy. You can write any intentions you want, but I’ve included some below that align with the energy of the Leo Full Moon to get you started.
Please make sure to write your intentions in present tense. No “I will” or “I want” or “I’m going to,” as these phrases set the intention on the longing for whatever you’re releasing, instead of the actual release.
*Because of the Venus-Mars conjunction, this is also a wonderful time to add intentions regarding love, partnerships and balance if that’s important to you.
Once you’re done writing your intentions, it is very important to include the full closing clause at the end, written by one of my favorite astrologers Danielle Ayoka.
You have until Saturday to complete this ritual.
Leo Full Moon Intentions (written on a piece of paper that you will burn afterwards):
I release all trauma, patterns, pain & blockages I’ve internalized from my childhood that has disconnected me from my inner child.
I release all feelings, beliefs, energetic agreements and chords supporting self-doubt and self-sabotage.
I release all beliefs, patterns, trauma, pain and habits blocking my creative freedom and growth.
I release all fear, trauma and pain inhibiting my creative gifts and potential.
I release all trauma, energy, habits and pain attracting unhealthy romantic partners.
I release all unhealthy perceptions and beliefs about myself that are creating pain and trauma through my romantic relationships.
I release all limiting beliefs that prevent me from experiencing my highest potential.
I release all feelings, beliefs, energetic agreements and chords that block my happiness, joy and creative freedom.
Closing Clause:
I release all implants, imprints, templates, thought forms, frequencies, energetic agreements, karma, trauma, chords, vibrations and patterns that resonate with the energy associated with my intentions on every layer of my existence, and out of all my chakras, major and minor, all layers of my aura, all of my subtle bodies of energy, my higher and lower self, ego, consciousness and awareness. I declare all these things to be so and in perfect alignment with my greatest and highest good. So it is.
After the clause, burn the paper safely and feel the energy leaving your body. Some of these intentions are heavy, so please make sure to rest and drink water afterwards. Physical symptoms may arise. The process of moving energy is different for everyone.
Regardless, this is a time to nurture yourself. Take it easy, and surrender to the ebb and flow of these energies.
