Your Libra New Moon Ritual
Recalibrating relationships and contracts
Today marks the Libra New Moon!
As you probably know by now, new moons mark new beginnings. For this new moon in Libra, there is an opportunity for a fresh start regarding business, personal, and romantic relationships.
With that said, it’s also the perfect time to set intentions regarding business, partnerships, creative projects, new boundaries, and repairing or improving relationships. The Libra New Moon will also be the best time to intend for court cases to go in your favor and starting new business deals and contracts.

There are also a number of astrological aspects with this new moon that deserve mention. In addition to Mercury retrograde, the new moon makes a conjunction with Mars, the God of War, and the planet known for energy, action, and desire. Because Libra is more about balance, diplomacy and beauty, this can cause some discomfort.
You might experience feelings of aggression, irritation, anger, or annoyance. Because of this, it’s best to stay emotionally and energetically balanced as you deal with this. To avoid combative energy you could transmute it through physical exercise, or you can use this push to finally let go of partnerships and contracts that are no longer mutually beneficial.
This is a time for recalibrating all the relationships in your life.
Now, for those of you who’ve done these New Moon rituals, you know what to do. If you haven’t, here’s the necessary information you need to move forward.
Unlike the full moon ritual, where you set intentions on what you want to release and burn your list, new moon rituals are what you want to manifest and bring in. There will be no burning.
What you will need is a completely unused notebook (if you already have a New Moon journal, you’ll use that same one for this ritual). There cannot be any pages used or torn out. This will become your new moon journal and can only be used for new moon intentions. Once you’ve decided which new notebook you’ll dedicate to your new moon intentions, you’ll consecrate, or pray, over the journal.
Put your right hand over the journal, and say to your higher self, "I dedicate this journal to manifesting my new moon intentions." Boom. Done. You only need to do this once. Again, it’s super important that you don’t use this notebook for anything else!
Now, remember that when you write your intentions, you don’t want to use phrases like “I will,” “I want,” “I wish,” etc. as that will only manifest the longing for whatever you put down. Make definitive statements when phrasing your intentions: "I am," "I have," "I manifest," "I transform," "I create," "I make," "I attract."
The Libra New Moon is today, so you can do your ritual anytime between now and Saturday.
You can write whatever intentions you’d like, but here are some optional intentions you can use that align with the Libra New Moon energy (c/o @mysticxlipstick):
I have balanced, mutually beneficial relationships.
My relationships honor, support and respect my personal boundaries.
I attract and sustain healthy relationships that are in perfect alignment with my highest good.
I only attract healthy interactions.
I attract lucrative business opportunities.
My business partnership with (insert name here) is successful and mutually beneficial.
I attract profitable collaborations.
My (insert business endeavor) is highly profitable and successful.
My career creates more revenue than I can spend.
I operate out of my creative abilities at my highest potential.
My creative projects are highly praised.
I attract lucrative business opportunities through my creative gifts and work.
I receive full credit and recognition for my creative projects.
My creative power is fully formed, whole and balanced.
My creative abilities attract profitable business deals and opportunities.
I have a peaceful relationship with the law enforcement and government of my country.
My relationship with the government is healthy.
I have a safe and beneficial relationship with the law enforcement and government of my country.
Interactions with the law and government always work out in my favor and in perfect alignment with my highest good.
Once you’re done writing your intentions, seal it with the following clause: "I give thanks to the Universe for all of these intentions fully manifesting in perfect alignment with my highest good. So it is."
Now, put your notebook away until next month’s new moon, and trust that the intentions you’ve written down are already being manifested for the highest good of all involved.
