The message I heard for this week’s reading was quite beautiful.
When I saw the Inner Earth card talking about new solutions and surviving tough times, I got a little bit annoyed. We’ve been going through so much, and sometimes hearing, “Hey, buck up, pal. It’s going to get better,” makes you just wanna punch someone in the mouth.
But then I tapped into my Higher Self, and it all made sense. I share that with you so you know that if feelings of irritation, frustration, annoyance and all those prickly emotions come up with these readings, that’s OK. I feel them, too.
For those of you who are in the midst of a challenging situation, big or small (who’s even to say, right?), know that the end of that difficulty is near. Solutions will present themselves, and in fact, those solutions are already here. It’s just a matter of meeting them where they’re at, because they’re waiting for you to acknowledge them.
The Lost Lands card is what gave me the excited goosebumps. When the card fell out of the shuffle, I heard, “You talk so much about trauma, and how the body and spirit can still remember trauma that the mind has forgotten. The same is true on the other side. There are gifts and memories that your mind may not remember, but your spirit and your body does. Trust that you know what you’re doing, even when you don’t ‘know’ what you’re doing.”
Whoa.
Between generational trauma, past life trauma, this life trauma that might have been blocked from our cognition, there’s a lot that we may not remember that still lives on. But also, between generational wisdom, past life wisdom, and this life wisdom, there is a lot of knowing that we may not remember, but is still deeply embedded within us.
I was talking to a healer over the weekend about how my dream recall has been severely minimal the last year or so. She simply told me, “You remember what you’re meant to remember. It’s OK. Your body still has the codes.”
The fact that this card was followed by Baby Steps, which reassures us to trust in our intuition even if it doesn’t make sense to our mind, was all the confirmation I needed.
You know what you’re doing, even if it doesn’t make sense. You’ve done it all before. You’ve trained for this. You’ve been preparing for this. You don’t have to “figure it all out.”
All you have to do is listen to your gut (which these days, is easier said than done, because we’ve been conditioned to not trust ourselves) and have the courage to walk your path, not the path that was paved for you by others. And that is why we’ve been doing all this work, so you can finally feel your way through life with the help of your inner compass, instead of trying to logically rationalize your way through it.
Life won’t always make sense. It’s not meant to. Anything is possible.
And that’s what makes it worth living.
Xo.
It’s Monday so you already know there’s a new podcast episode out today!
