Hello, you.
I hope you rested well this weekend, and allowed yourself to just be (whatever that may have looked like for you).
As we finally begin to stabilize after the full moon and lunar eclipse energy, you may find yourself greeted with some familiar yet uncomfortable emotions coming to the surface.
This is all just clearing you out of old paradigms and patterns. What needs to be let go is rushing out.
There may be an occurrence this week, whether with yourself or with someone from your past, that will poke at your shadow. Remember, this is meant to bring certain traits into your conscious awareness, because you’re being asked to let them go.
If you find yourself triggered in any way this week, or put in a position where anger just bubbles up to the surface, honor the feelings. But instead of acting on them, and attaching them to a story or conclusion, ask yourself, “What is this feeling connected to? Am I ready to let this go?”
You may be asked to acknowledge some difficult emotions, situations, conflicts, wounds, and fears that are causing you pain and anxiety. This is all in an attempt to lead you back to love.
Any sort of bypassing that may have worked in the past will not work anymore. Your soul is begging to be seen, and that will include filtering through everything that stands in the way.
How have you let fear and anxiety keep you hidden from the world?
This is a time to drop your defenses. You can’t fake peace, love, forgiveness and unity, which is why you may find the blocks standing in your way to authentically embodying these things are coming up.
Now is the time for radical honesty and accountability.
Explore how you, your ancestors, your community, have consciously or unconsciously inflicted pain onto others. This isn’t about placing blame, but simply becoming aware of the patterns that perpetuate oppression and hate.
What’s it gonna take to drop the armor? What’s it gonna take to say “I’m sorry” and truly mean it? Again, whether that’s to yourself or to others.
It’s time to atone. If there are matters weighing heavily on your heart, people that need to be talked to, actions that need to be held accountable, remorse that needs to be expressed, this week is the week to do it.
While this can feel uncomfortable, scary or even impossible, understand that what you’re doing is wiping the slate clean. You’re building a blank canvas for yourself, and with letting go comes the liberation of painting whatever picture you want moving forward.
What does it look like now without the filter of your wounds?
Paint this photo with your thoughts and feelings. Allow your innate creativity to flourish and create the life you’ve always longed to live.
The last episode of the Return to Self podcast titled “Facing the Feeling” is now streaming on all major platforms.

Remember to show yourself the same patience and grace you offer others, and take care of yourself this week.
