Happy Monday, my friends. I decided to turn to my new Starseed Oracle deck for this week’s reading, and how fitting considering so many of us are starting a new chapter.
The common theme in previous readings was letting go of that which doesn’t fit so that we can embark on a new journey, one that aligns and resonates with our soul and purpose during this lifetime. NBD, right? I feel like many of us answered the call, or at the very least, are taking the necessary steps to begin this new journey and honor the pings we’ve been getting. For that, first and foremost, I want to say I’m proud of you. Shit ain’t easy.
As with most new paths, uncertainty and anxiety closely follow. The cards are reminding us that it is in these moments when the magic happens. There’s no need to bypass what comes up, but know that there is something greater waiting for you just beyond these feelings.
Forge, Don’t Follow is reminding you who you are. You’re a leader. There’s a reason you had the guts to do what you did. Embody that energy. Some of us may be feeling like we need someone else to pave the path for us and show us what to do next. We’re eagerly searching for a guide, an answer, a formula to follow—but nobody can do this for you. I know, that’s not the answer you wanted to hear, but that’s because this is your path. You’re quite literally forging a path that hasn’t been done before, so no one else’s journey can lead you to where you need to go. You’re not a follower, you’re a leader and you’re spearheading this next chapter. And it’s OK if you don’t know where you’re going, that’s part of the journey.
The Void is where everything begins and ends. It’s the cosmic womb, and can be pretty freakin’ intimidating and scary for those of us who are used to leaning on the comfort of control. This is where you’re being asked to surrender. You already bet on yourself. You took the leap. Now, learn how to freefall to your next destination as you float mid-air. Yes, it’s dark and you can’t see what’s coming or going or where you’re supposed to go…that’s on purpose. Maybe you’re not meant to know yet. Maybe right now your greatest focus is allowing yourself to just be.
Many of us are being asked to awaken and ascend, hence these major shifts that we continue to experience. Earthed is that gentle reminder that you may be in the world, but you are not of it. Yet, you’re here because you chose to be. Let’s be real, sometimes shit gets tricky, and Earth feels ghetto, especially for fellow starseeds. Everything can feel so heavy. But what we fail to recall (on purpose) is that our soul chose to come back at this time for a specific reason, and that reason is to fulfill your soul mission. So in those moments of doubt, ground yourself. Remind yourself that there is a bigger picture at play and the times of uncertainty and exhaustion are understandable, but fleeting. Learn how to find the balance between being not of this Earth, but in it. Being a spiritual being having a human experience.
Lastly, I Remember is pretty self-explanatory card, but the fascination for me with this card is diving deeper between fate and destiny. Many people use them interchangeably, but that’s not completely accurate. The fated life is the one we’re born into, while our destiny is the life our soul chooses. And that takes faith and courage. I feel like this card is coming up for those who are either still at a crossroads about the decision that needs to be made, or for those who took the first step and are now trying to back-peddle. Try to get out of your head for a second, and tap into your gut. Your soul’s home. Listen to what it has to say, because while you may not know what to do next, your soul remembers.
So when it comes to fate vs. destiny, which life do you want to live? Are you following what you think you’re supposed to be doing or what your soul is calling you to do? Are you living for yourself or for everybody else?
These are questions to ask yourself, and understand that there is no right or wrong answer. The decision is yours to make, and yours only. But be honest with yourself, because you’re the one who will have to live with the choices you make.
Trust. Surrender. Believe.
