Let it go.
Happy Monday, light beings! I hope this Scorpio New Moon is being gentle with you, but by the look of these cards, that may not be the case. It’s OK! Scorpio is known to coincide with our shadow Self, so perhaps certain areas of your life or of yourself that you’re not a big fan of are being illuminated right now. Allow that to happen. It’s all pushing you to the next level.
Let’s get into the cards…
Loosen Your Grip is highlighting unhealthy coping mechanisms and clinging on to that you’ve been doing. What have you been holding on to so tightly even though you know it’s not good for you? Is it a job? Relationship? Behavior? Activity? All of the above? Many of us do this, often out of fear, but understand that whatever this is, it’s filling up space that isn’t helping you in the long run. Letting go is sometimes harder than we acknowledge (trust me, I know), but we must let go of the things we are fearfully attached to, and let God into those spaces instead. Many of these voids that we fill with addictions or unhealthy patterns are our most vulnerable areas that we want to make sure we can control. It doesn’t work like that boo boo. Yes, it’s gonna feel yucky and heavy and overwhelming and emotional, and you’re so tired, but treat it like a band-aid and just rip it off. Your future self thanks you.
I feel like the I’m Sorry card is in relation to what we just spoke about. Perhaps many of you are finding yourself having to apologize for past hurts. Perhaps now is the time to look at how you’ve consciously contributed to the pain and oppression of others, and believe me, we are all guilty of this in some way, shape or form. Now is the time to take accountability. Now is not the time to play the blame game. Again, that’s all a distraction from continuing on the path of unwinding the patterns that got you here in the first place. So as you reflect on the things or people you’re clinging on to, and the unhealthy coping mechanisms that you continuously participate in, include heartfelt conversations that need to be had, even if those apologies are simply to yourself.
Earth Pulsing is reminding us to take time out to rejuvenate. Spend time in nature if you can, and slow things down. Busy is another distraction. I’ll say that again for the people in the back—BUSY IS ANOTHER DISTRACTION. We often say that people make time for what they care about. Are you making time for yourself? Are you making time for your healing? Are you making time for a healthier lifestyle for yourself? If not, ask yourself why, and keep digging until you get to the root of the block.
Finally, A New Earth is confirmation that all of this work is not in vain. You may not be able to see the big picture from here, but it’s being formed regardless, and it’s beautiful. All of the heavy, painful work is temporary. It’s not easy to rebuild a foundation that’s been neglected for years—sometimes centuries. But man, when we think of the new horizons we’ll build once this new foundation is solid, you’ll see why all of this was so worth it.
One step at a time, grasshopper.
