Happy Monday, dear ones.
I hope this weekend was joyful, easy and full of whatever your spirit desperately needed in order to feel whole, balanced and at peace.
This week, we’ll be experiencing a new moon in Sagittarius (11/23) which will bring us some great luck. Remember, new moons are great manifestation windows.
This new moon specifically will be the perfect positive spin after the eclipses we just had. Why? Because Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion and abundance, and Sagittarius energy draws our attention to adventure and how we interact with new perspectives.
With that said, the reading for this week doesn’t necessarily feel specific to this week. Instead, this energy feels like a reminder (or different perspective) that is needed in order to let some heaviness go.
Take a look at the Lucid Dreams Beginners Tarot Deck
For whoever this message is for—you’ve been going through deep, emotional grief. Perhaps you’ve carried this heaviness in your chest for so long that you don’t even realize it’s there anymore, but what actually happened is you got so used to carrying it that you’ve forgotten what it’s like to live without it.
You may have been constantly let down, disappointed, betrayed, lied to and taken advantage of by those who you trusted, or at the very least, believed loved you.
The pain of these endings, with the added punch in the gut of it happening so many times, has left you swimming in feelings of emptiness, loneliness and doubt.
You know I’m a psychology junkie, and while I am constantly fascinated by the mind and human behavior, I am also a spiritual junkie, and understand that sometimes things don’t necessarily make logical sense.
Is it possible that attachment styles, childhood trauma and unhealthy patterns play a role in this? Yes, of course.
Is it also possible that there is something else at play? Yes, I think so.
Can both be true simultaneously? Absolutely.
Feeling the urge to get your own card deck?
While I believe, somewhere deep down by the root, this is all connected, I still want to remind you that we each come here with karmic agreements that we completely forgot about. So before you punish yourself for feeling like these experiences are all “your fault,” consider the gift they were giving you—freedom.
Sometimes it’s incredibly hard to believe that unfortunate experiences have any benefit to them at all, but with these cards, you’re being reminded that nothing was done in vain.
There was a metaphorical death that has taken place within you, and as shitty as it may sound, sometimes the only that to shake us out of the comforts of repeated cycles is the moment the pain becomes too much to bear and so we refuse to continue in this way. Struggle is not some badge of honor like we may have been led to believe.
I never want to romanticize unhealthy dynamics and grief, and I also can’t deny that in some cases, those experiences are the very thing that brought you closer to the truth of who you are. It forced you, sometimes in very uncomfortable ways, to awaken.
These cycles of death and rebirth have also opened you up to heightened intuition and inner knowing. Chances are you knew exactly what was going on before it actualized in the 3D, but you didn’t trust yourself. And that’s OK. You showed up exactly as you needed to, but now, you know better.
You are not a victim to your experience. Quite the opposite actually. You have acquired and revived a number of gifts, abilities and skills that were lying dormant within you. There is a power that you are just now realizing you have access to.
There’s a reason they say chaos is what sparked the birth of the entire Universe.
Sometimes it’s the vibration in our screams, the intelligence in our tears and the power in our despair that create new worlds within us.
The lessons have been learned in this cycle, love. You can let all of it go now and start a new story.
Have you watched November’s reading yet?
The numerology of this reading is a 7, seeing through illusion. The number 7 is “both deep and wise. It is not satisfied with simple explanations and surface-level information—this is frivolous stuff. It knows that the real gold is buried deeper and won't stop until it finds it…and then it'll keep digging for more.”
There’s also a lot of water energy in this reading (Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer), as well as Scorpio with the Death card, and the moon with the High Priestess, so a water moon sign may be significant to you.
However the way I’m interpreting this is that this reading has a lot to do with your repressed emotion (water being the element of the emotion and the moon representing what is hidden) and how you can transmute that energy into something more transformative for you (death/Scorpio energy).
