Happy Monday, my loves.
As always, I hope this weekend provided you with whatever your mind, body and soul have been craving—rest, adventure, balance, clarity, peace, and more.
This week marks the beginning of Sagittarius season, so shout out to all of my fiery, knowledgeable, freedom fighters!
As we say so long to Scorpio season, and prepare for our end of the year festivities, the cards remind us that we must trust in what we feel and not what we see.
Allow me to explain…
For some of us, there has been a long period of what felt (and maybe still feels like) stagnation. Things weren’t moving forward in the way that we’d like, and there was this overwhelming feeling of discontent and boredom.
Whether that was with a relationship, job or life circumstance, there’s this sense of, “OK, I know something’s coming, but it’s not happening, and I’m just here waiting and I’m not quite sure what I’m supposed to be doing during this time.”
It’s very natural and understandable to be confused, and maybe even low-key irritated by this. At some point, you may have even felt a little delusional for believing in something that you still can’t see with your own two eyes.
In coaching, one of our foundational principles that we have is, “Faith is more important than proof.”
Although your material world isn’t matching up to what you feel in your heart, in your gut and maybe even in your bones, that doesn’t mean it’s not happening. As I mentioned in my live reading on Friday evening, when you manifest big, a lot has to happen to prepare you to be the person you need to be in order to receive what you’re manifesting. Don’t let that go over your head.
There’s been a lot of patience and planning in the physical realm, both by you and by the Divine. I know it’s annoying to keep hearing, “trust and surrender,” but that’s truly what you’re being asked to do, and all you’re being asked to do.
In fact, I’m willing to bet that if you were really honest with yourself and took inventory over the last few months, year, or however long you’ve been feeling this stagnant energy, you’d see that many other gifts and opportunities of growth have occurred because this thing hasn’t happened yet. You can’t deny the transformations that have happened.
Although your manifestation (and I’m being singular here, because it feels like for whoever resonates with this reading, it is a very specific manifestation in mind), hasn’t come to fruition in your physical reality, the absence of it has left room for you to evolve in ways you never imagined.
Your soul has been soaring in new ways—projects, creativity, new partnerships, friendships, alignment, synchronicity. Those moments when your heart is on fire and your passion is ignited are reminders that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. You’re still aligned with your destiny and on the “right” path.
Sometimes we get so hyper-focused on this one thing and we make that our marker of success that we lose sight of how many other wins we’re experiencing.
I know we’ve all heard that quote, “It’s about the journey, not the destination,” but I heard this quote broken down so beautifully this weekend on an episode of On My Block that I want to share it with you…
“Purpose comes after the destination. Your purpose is the point of the journey, not the motivation for it. Purpose can be a mystery your whole life. Sometimes it isn’t revealed until you’re gone. Like I said, you don’t go looking for your purpose. Your purpose finds you.”
This week, notice where you might cling to a certain career, person, situation or outcome as a marker of your purpose and success. What if you let that pressure go?
Instead of focusing so much on the finish line, focus on each moment that sparks your joy and excitement. Think of it like a scavenger hunt instead of a marathon race.
When you follow the passion in your heart, the spark in your spirit, you’ll always end up exactly where you’re meant to be. And before you know it, you’ll look up and see everything you ever wanted was right there waiting for your arrival.
