Happy Monday! Do we even care what day it is anymore? Time…what a concept.
Anyway, as promised, your weekly Oracle reading is below, and it looks like some of us are starting to feel depleted from the lack of boundaries in our lives. As easy and convenient as it might be to point the finger, that won’t change much.
You know I say all of this love. Plus, don't get mad at me. I’m just the messenger.
Weight of the World is asking you to take inventory of the relationships and situations in your life that are draining you. Where are you lacking boundaries? Is it at work with your colleagues? With your family? With your significant other or friends? Maybe it shows up in all aspects of your life, because that’s what you’re used to doing. You’re used to avoiding conflict at all costs and just carrying it all on your back to keep the peace. That’s not gonna fly, boo boo. It’s a gift that you care so much and that you want to be able to help all of those around you, but when it begins to sacrifice your own well-being and peace, it becomes more of a burden than anything else. You’re no good to anyone else if you’re not good, so don’t be afraid of setting limitations and being honest about what you can and can’t take on. Will you be met with some resistance? Sure, but that’s not your issue. Your main concern is checking in with yourself first before you take on anything else for other people.
Piggying-back off of that message is the Your Life Is A Canvas card which reminds you to take responsibility for the way the picture of your life is being set up. Sure, there are many things out of our control, but focus on the things that are in your control and be honest about how you may not be stepping up to the plate like you need to. Instead of just complaining about how things are turning out, take accountability for ways in which you may not be doing what needs to be done in order for it to manifest the way you’d like. Since it came up in the spread with the boundaries card, I feel like that’s the main concern for many. I hear a lot of us complaining about people who are so draining or taking us for granted, but what are you doing about it? Mmm, there it is. Light bulb.
Lastly, Earthed is a card we’ve seen before. Since so many of us are Starseeds (hence the deck), I feel like this card is just another reminder to integrate our duality so we can find balance. Many of us are super into the metaphysical and dream of being with the Angels and hanging out in paradise (transcendence), while others are caught up in the complete opposite—immanence, or being more attached to Earth and the body.
Being a fully embodied soul means balancing the two. Understanding that you are in the world, but not of it, while also embracing and honoring both. There’s a reason your soul chose to reincarnate into this realm. So whichever side you tend to lean towards, find a way to focus your energy more into the opposite so that you can find a happy equilibrium.
If this entire reading could be summed up into one word, it’s this: balance.
