The astro forecast of this week—
We’re kicking off the week with Mercury entering Cancer today, creating a reconnection between your emotions and your communication. You may find yourself being able to speak more from the heart during this transit, and really understand what others are trying to say.
On Friday, Neptune begins its retrograde in Pisces, so it’s important to ground yourself during this time. This transit can create a lot of illusions and fogginess, so try to stay focused and consult your intuition.
This week’s reading—
It’s interesting, because I obviously pull cards prior to typing this all out, but I research the astrological transits after the fact, and yet, they tend to coincide. This is no exception.
The reading for this week was very clear, so as always, only take what hits, don’t make it fit.
This week is bringing you higher knowledge into your Self and your belief system. We’ve spoken in a few readings over the last few weeks about getting in your own way, and it feels like you may be getting clearer on the fact that you actually have been holding on to old traditions or beliefs that were fucking you over.
You’re breaking out of the illusion.
There was almost a sense of arrogance that was associated to this. You may have even spiritually bypassed a lot of the outcomes in your life to make it not your fault, but what you were actually doing was trying to escape responsibility for your choices and actions.
It’s a cycle of playing the victim, or even the martyr, for some.
Regardless of the role you have perhaps unconsciously attached to, you were experiencing a lot of unhappiness, disappointment and a lack of fulfillment. Some of you may have even “fumbled” a wish fulfillment.
(I put that in quotes, because what’s yours is yours, so the opportunity to make things right is always an option.)
Something came along that was exactly what you wanted, and then instead of putting your focus and energy into it to nourish it and take care of it, you sabotaged.
I know I might be sounding a little too direct right now, but it’s flowing out, so I’m not mincing words.
This was due to a lack of confidence on your part. Yes, you wanted the thing, but you didn’t feel deserving of whatever it was, and so you unconsciously did the same thing you’ve always done, because it’s what you know. And for that reason, the predictable outcome gave you a sense of control.
You really wanted that control, because whatever this thing was, it made you feel like you had zero control.
Your fear of failure caused you to tap out early. You gave up. You let your pride and ego get in the way, and made the decision yourself, because you weren’t willing to try and find out.
Again, there were some rigid beliefs or spiritual bypassing that was at the root of this. When I say spiritual bypassing, I’m referring to things like, “Well, if it was meant to be, it’d happen.”
There’s truth there, but, my friend, it did happen. And then you blocked it.
Now, I promise this entire reading isn’t just to shit on you. I’m pointing at the elephant in the room, because this week you’re going to experience an opportunity to let these old beliefs go.
Educate yourself on your mind’s tactics, your ego’s defense mechanisms, your shadow (my e-book can definitely help you with this!). It’s time to take accountability for how you play part in why your life isn’t turning out the way you want it to. It’s time to take accountability for how you choose to focus on others instead of yourself. It’s time to take accountability for how you continue to behave in a manner that keeps you stuck in a loop.
Freedom is an internal job. Are you ready to liberate yourself?
According to the cards, the answer is yes. With the Nine of Swords in reverse at the bottom of the deck, and the Five of Swords in reverse at the top of the deck, you are releasing fear, focusing on healing and facing the consequences of your life.
You are willing to cut loose anything and anyone that has been getting in the way, especially when it comes to your own mindset and behavior.
The guidance for this week is “what are you waiting for?”
I mean, could it be any clearer? LOL
I’m going to repeat what I said last week, because it still applies:
It's time to stop hiding and playing small. It’s time to stop holding on to a version of yourself that’s begging to die.
You’re evolving and growing. You might even be becoming someone who you don’t necessarily recognize, but are eager to know, and yet, that can create a lot of hesitancy.
It’s OK to be scared. It’s OK to be uncertain about what’s next. But what’s not OK is continuing to hold on to the cocoon when it’s time to fly.
Spread your wings and see what you’re capable of.
