Now, let’s talk about the big astro transit of the week—

Today marks the Aries New Moon Solar Eclipse, and she is definitely the star of the show this week. You may have heard various reasons why, so let’s break it down.

Generally, a new moon marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle, symbolizing fresh starts, new beginnings, and the seeding of intentions.

With a solar eclipse entering the equation—which is when the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking out the Sun's light—it symbolizes powerful transitions, endings, and new beginnings.

Now take that energy and add about a gallon of propane, and you have the Aries influence of fiery courage, assertiveness, initiative, and individuality. It's a sign of action and initiation.

The Aries New Moon Solar Eclipse signifies powerful new beginnings and transformations, particularly in areas related to individual identity, self-expression, and personal goals (you can look to see what house Aries rules in your birth chart to know more about what area of life this is affecting the most for you).

However, with Mercury Retrograde in Aries overlapping, there may be challenges and disruptions in communication, thinking processes, and decision-making. Impulsive actions and misunderstandings could lead to conflicts or setbacks.

Or this could be a time when you realize you want a second shot at something.

Remember, retrogrades are re-dos and times of reflection. This solar eclipse may finally give you the courage to take a chance on something that you previously felt insecure about.

Oh, but we’re not done.

This solar eclipse is also featuring a Chiron cazimi—which will highlight any hidden doubts blocking you from chasing down your dreams—as well as Venus and the North Node, also.

To summarize it all up: We currently have the sun, moon, Venus, Mercury, Chiron and the North Node (your true calling) all in Aries getting a front-row seat to the solar eclipse energy.

This is a time when you are being aligned with your destiny, especially if you have prominent Aries, Libra, Capricorn and Cancer placements (but everyone is feeling this to a degree).
