Can you believe we’re already embarking on a new month this week? It seems like I’m still grasping onto whatever remnants of Summer is left, because I know that once I fully accept that it’s Autumn, time is going to fast forward like no other.

Regardless, I hope you had an amazing weekend, full of rest, balance, joy and rejuvenation.

We have a powerful cosmic event this week that may become a catalyst for some major change ahead…

But before we get there, thank you to everyone for their messages and well wishes in regards to the devastating violence in Lebanon right now. As many immigrants may know, especially those from war-torn countries, it can be incredibly difficult to lead what can sometimes feels like a double life.

Constantly worrying about your family’s well-being, wondering if they’re safe, watching the country that you love so dearly being so mistreated…there is a part of myself that will always be there and not here. That’s a separation I’m still learning how to heal.

I’ve never felt so connected to anything or anyone in the way that I feel with Lebanon. It’s a fascinating and peculiar experience. When I attach an identity to her, it’s me, and for that reason, I know she will never fall.

In fact, in the same way as it is for me, I know she has yet to see her best days.
