OK, let’s get into this week’s astrological transits—
Y’all, there’s a lot going on, and it’s kind of a big deal.
Not only is there a new moon in Cancer today, but the lunar nodes have officially moved into Aries and Libra, where they’ll stay until January 2025.
I’ll be sending out a separate newsletter later this week with more on the nodal shift and how it will affect each sign, so keep an eye out for that.
For now, I want you to focus on setting intentions with this new moon on the area of life that Aries rules in your birth chart. There is going to be amplified energy in this area of your life, so use this new moon energy to your advantage.

Oh, but that’s not all, folks.
On Saturday, not only do we enter Leo season (happy birthday to all the Leos!), but Venus goes into retrograde in Leo.
Everyone has their opinion on what this six-week transit is going to bring. You may have exes coming back or love affairs that fall flat. This transit can make it difficult for you to express your love and affection. You may do too much and get blinded or do too little and risk a connection. Finding balance is key.
Also, if possible, you may want to refrain from making any major relationship decisions until this transit is over in September. Take your time and be intentional.
This week’s reading—
I’m happy to see the Nine of Cups here, because Jesus Christ!
The collective for this reading has been deep in shadow work for some time. With the Devil card here, you’ve been facing your own toxicity, the emphasis you’ve placed on materialism and who that has created within you.
You may have also been dealing with obsessive attachments and addictions that have kept you stuck in a cycle that was not allowing you to move forward. This can include, but is not limited to, sexual lust, overindulgence, working as a coping mechanism and relying too heavily on external achievement.
There may have been some deep envy or greed that was fueling these shadows within yourself.
You never felt good enough, and so you kept trying to make yourself prove your worth, but it kept causing you to hit a wall. With the 10 of Wands at the bottom of the deck, you were carrying too many burdens and responsibility on your own.
You may have become overly stressed and exhausted, feeling like no matter what effort you put forth, it all felt like it was for nothing. It wasn’t for nothing, but chances are the only reason you put forth that effort was because you felt obligated to, not because you actually wanted to.
This will absolutely affect the way you feel, because while a sense of duty is honorable, it can backfire when it’s forced.
There may have been a breakup or significant relationship that brought this to a head.
The imbalance you experience within yourself was highlighted within the partnership, and disharmony caused a split. There may have been arguments around where the partnership is going, what you are to each other or even how to move forward.
One of you, maybe both of you to a degree, remained detached and indecisive about the relationship.
However, it feels like this breakup was a catalyst for you to finally put aligned action behind wanting something different for yourself and from yourself. Because of this heightened sense of intention, you’re moving into alignment and harmony.
There is a wish fulfillment coming to fruition. This can have something to do with a successful endeavor, recognition for your work and/or abundance in more ways than one.
However this manifests, it is bringing you emotional richness, satisfaction and an overwhelming sense of joy.
The guidance for this week is “it’s not a competition.”
So much of your struggle and suffering is rooted in believing that your journey should’ve unfolded differently than it has. Please understand that this is unfair punishment to yourself.
It’s always easy to look back and think, “Oh I should’ve done this” or “I wish I did that instead,” but you did what you thought was best in the moment, even if it was a shitty decision after the fact.
Stop comparing your life to other people’s journeys, because the truth of the matter is you have no idea what’s actually happening in their world, and your playbook was exclusively written for you, with calls, pivots, surprises and a grand finale that can never be predicted or repeated by someone else.
All you have to do is trust the play you’re being given.
